THE SACCUCCI STORY
A family tradition of personal service.
Michael A. Saccucci grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, taking cars apart and putting them back together. After serving in World War II, he began running Cummings Motor Sales in Newport and eventually became its owner.
In 1967, Mike and his wife Cora moved the dealership to West Main Road in Middletown. Their approach was simple: excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to customers. Their motto, “our reputation is your protection,” became a family tradition.
Their daughters, Barbara and Carol, grew up working in the business. Barbara joined the dealership in 1974, and Carol established her legal practice there. The family added the Honda franchise in 1976.
Today, Saccucci Honda remains family owned and operated, with three generations carrying that tradition forward. Barbara’s son Gardiner serves as CIO, and Carol’s son Michael serves as Body Shop Manager, continuing their grandfather’s dedication to the dealership and its customers.
